Our very first President also said ...
"In proportion as the structure of a government gives force to public opinion, it is essential that public opinion should be enlightened."
(Ibid., 35:230) 1796
These comments .. these directives, if you will, from our very first Commander-in-Chief begs the question of each of us - present and future guardians of the liberties of the country -
"Am I doing all I can to stay informed and be a
good steward of our American liberties???"
